 As well as offering standard passivates, Parkfield Electroplating can offer trivalent Finishes to which contain no Hexavelent Chrome and comply to The RoHS and WEEE Directive.

Our new Cr3 high output barrel plant is totally hexavent chrome free and was designed with the directive in mind.

RoHS & WEEE Directive: The RoHS Directive bans the sale of new electrical and electronic equipment containing significant levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, *hexavelent , polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) from 1 July 2006. The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE) requires manufacturers to finance the recycling of their electrical products
